How the forces of nature shape the land, sea and our lives— I made a series of knitted/felted shapes to represent the way the earth’s powers are both constructive and destructive as my way of dealing with the powerful devastation I witnessed after the 1995 tsunami. We were able to be part of the healing of isolated communities by helping to set up after helping to set up “Child-Centered Spaces” in post-Tsunami Tamil Nadu in Southern India.
